Nowadays, Mushrooms are getting popular in India. It is used in many dishes such as pizza topping, with pasta and so on. So, let's prepare mushroom in Indian Style with Indian Spices.
SO, LET'S GET STARTED.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 2 Inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 5 Cloves
  • 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Almonds
  • 2 Green Chilli  Cut in Juliennes
  • 1 Cup Chopped Onions
  • 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 3/4 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Gram Flour
  • 1 Cup Whisked Curd
  • 1 Cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • Salt As Per Taste
  • 200 gms Button Mushroom Diced

Methodology 


  • Step-1
Heat a Kadai. Add oil and let it heat up,then add cinnamon sticks and cloves ; Fry for 1 minute at low flame.
  • Step-2 
Add cumin seeds and let it crackle.Add chopped almonds;Fry it for a minute at low flame. Add green chilli juliennes and chopped onions and  cook till brown in color.
  • Step-3
Add ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder,gram flour and cook for a minute.Add whisked curd and cook till reduced.
  • Step-4
Add chopped tomatoes and cover it and cook it till mushy. Add black pepper powder, 1/2 cup water and cook for another 1 minute.Add garam masala powder & salt as per taste.
  • Step-5 
Add diced mushrooms and 1/2 cup water and cook for 10 minutes at high flame.Then, switch off the flame.
   Serve Delicious Mushroom Masala hot with Paratha.
