How to make instant jalebi at home in just 10 minutes
Jalebi also known as Zulbia, jilabi Mushabak and zalabiya.It is an Indian sweet popular all over South Asia ,Egypt and Middle East. Generally it is making by fermentation method but today I am going to show you how to make jalebi instantly in just 10 minutes. So let's start the recipe.Ingredients required for making this recipe are as follows:
●1 cup all purpose flour (maida).
●1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter).
●1 packet eno fruit salt.
●2 cups sugar.
●1/4 teaspoon yellow food color.(optional)
●Oil or Ghee for frying
●Water as required.
Method
For making sugar syrup:
●Heat a saucepan add two cups of sugar, one cup of water and 1\4 teaspoon yellow food colour.
●Stir it all together.
●Bring it to a boil.
●After the sugar syrup boils turn off the flame.
For Making jalebi batter:
●Take all purpose flour in a bowl add clarified butter and eno fruit salt to it.
●Now mix it all together.
●Add water to form a thick batter.
●Whisk the batter for 2 minutes.
● Keep the batter aside for 3 to 4 minutes.
● Pour this batter into a sauce bottle or you can use a piping bag.
● Heat ghee or oil for frying in the pan at medium flame.
● As the ghee or oil gets heated make small round shape jalebis and fry them at medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
● After 2 to 3 minutes take out the jalebis.
●Soak them in the sugar syrup for 10 seconds.
● After 10 seconds take out the Jalebi from the sugar syrup.
Your delicious, juicy, instant Jalebi are ready to serve.
