Spicy Tapioca Sago|Vow(Vrat)special|
Sago is the starch extracted from the spongy stems of tropical palm trees.Sago pearls are similiar to the pearled starches of other origin.
Sago contains antioxidents and resistant starch.It has many benefits such as improving bone health,helps in muscle growth,it keeps your blood pressure in control and also boost your immunity level.
According to Hindu Mythology,a person who keeps fast or vow can have sago in vow or fast.
So,today I am going to share with you a vow (Vrat) special recipe of Spicy Sago.So,lets start the recipe.
Ingredients required for this recipe are as follows:
●2 cups soaked sago(Sabudana)
●half cup diced potato
●2-3 chopped green chilli
●4-5 tablespoon crushed peanuts(roasted)
●2 tablespoon oil
●1 teaspoon red chilli powder
●Rock Salt as per taste ( sendha namak)
●half teaspoon cumin seeds
●2 teaspoon chopped green coriander leaves
●1 teaspoon lemon juice
☆Method
Step-1
Take out soaked sago in a bowl and mix rock salt and red chilli powder in it.
Step-2
Heat a pan,add oil as the oil gets heated add cumin seeds to it let the cumin seeds crackel.
Step-3
Now,add diced potato to the pan and fry till the potatoes turns light brown stir the potatoes continiously.
Step-4
After the potatoes turn light brown,add green chillies to the pan fry for 1 minute.
Step-5
Now,add crushed peanuts(roasted) to it and fry for 1 minute.
Step-6
After the peanuts get cooked add the sago mixed with red chilli powder and rock salt and mix all things together .
Step-7
Cook the sago for 5 minutes at low flame.
Step-8
After 5 minutes, swich off the flame and add chopped green coriander leaves and lemon juice to it. Mix all things together and serve hot.
Your delicious Spicy Sago is ready to serve.
