 Healthy Peas Cutlets

Cutlets
are very tasty snack that we all love to have any time.They are made in diffrent varieties such as vegetable cutlet,Rice cutlets,Potato cutlet and many more. But at the same time if we come to its nutrition value which is low due to deep oil frying. So, Let's prepare a healthy cutlet today which is not deep fried and made with peas which provides carotenoid phytonutrients, lutein and zeaxanthin to our body, which are known to promote vision and eye health. 

SO,LET'S GET STARTED. 

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Crushed Peas
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Green Chilli
  • 2 Tbsp Semolina
  • 2 Tbsp Plain Flour
  • Salt As Per Taste
  • 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 Pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Carrom Seeds
  • 3/4 Tsp Chaat Masala
  • 2 Tsp Oil
Method 

  • Step-1

Take a bowl, add crushed peas, chopped green chilli, semolina, plain flour, salt as per taste, garam masala, turmeric powder, carrom seeds and chaat masala and mix altogether. Cover the mixture and keep it aside for 5 minutes.

  • Step-2

After 5 minutes, knead the mixture and make small sized cutlets out of it.

  • Step-3

Heat a pan, Add oil in it spread it and let it get heated.Then place the cutlets on the pan and cook at low flame till golden brown in colour. Then flip it over and again cook it at low flame till golden brown in colour. After it gets cook take out it in a plate and serve hot with tomato ketchup.

Healthy Peas Cutlets are ready to serve.
