How to make crunchy maggi popcorn | Evening snack recipe
Evening is that time of the day when you crave for something crunchy and tasty that can go best with tea and coffee. At this time we all have a most common evening snack that is biscuits and namkeen. But eating the same snacks daily make be boring. Today, I am going to share with you a new evening snack recipe made with maggi that can be prepared in just 8-9 minutes and comes out very crunchy and tasty and goes best with tea and coffee.
So, let's get started
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cup maggi
- 2/3 cup grated cabbage
- 1/3 cup chopped onions
- 1 tbsp chopped green chilli
- 1 packet maggi masala
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 cup gram flour[besan]
- Salt as per taste
- Oil for frying
Method
- Step-1
Heat a pan. Add water and maggi. Let the maggi till it gets dry.[Don't cook the maggi fully].After maggi becomes dry switch off the flame.
- Step-2
Now, Take a bowl. Add cabbage, onion, green chilli, maggi masala, red chilli powder, gram flour, salt and mix altogether. After mixing all ingredients add boiled maggi in this mixture and combine well.
- Step-3
Then,Heat oil for frying and drop a small amount of the mixture into the oil and fry till golden brown in colour at medium flame.[Don't worry about the shape because the uneven shape gets more crunchy.] After the snack becomes golden brown in colour turn off the flame and take out the maggi popcorns into a plate.
